The Bilby® Shopping Cart Liner is a one piece all fabric liner designed to protect babies from germs in shopping carts. It is machine washable, durable and easy to use. The outer fabric is a rugged corduroy, and the inner fabric is a soft cute print. The liner also works on restaurant high chairs and public strollers. The Bilby® Shopping Cart Liner is elastisized and will fit all carts, even the oversized warehouse club carts. |

 Our HistoryOur first child, Matthew, was born at 32 weeks gestation. Because of this, the doctors at the hospital cautioned us to be very careful to keep him away from germs., especially in the early months of his life. We took this warning very seriously and kept him as healthy as we could. When he was old enough and big enough to sit directly in the shopping cart, I was horrified to see him falling over, hitting his head, and sucking on the shopping cart handle, which I knew had to be extremely germ ridden. I searched the baby products industry looking for a product that would allow our son to sit comfortably in a shopping cart, keep him away from germs and would be easy to use. I couldn't find a product to do all three on the market, so my husband made me a liner to use when I went to the grocery store. I was approached so many times from parents and grandparents wondering where they could purchase this product that we decided to patent the design and go into production. The hallmark of our design is that it is very easy to use due to the patented flap in the back of the liner. (See instructions on the right) This allows the safety strap to come through easily, securing the baby to the liner and the cart at the same time. Most of the other cart liners on the market have to be secured to the cart first, and then the baby secured to the liner. This is a very difficult and time consuming process, and sometimes the liner cannot be secured to the cart at all due to the different cart designs. If the liner is not secured to the cart, the baby can easily fall out, especially when they get big enough to start moving around. With our flap, the baby is secure in a manner of seconds to both the cart and the liner, regardless of cart design. Our second son, Michael, was born on the day we shipped our first product to retailers. That was two years ago, and the consumer response to the Bilby® Shopping Cart Liner has been overwhelming.
